All Our Bikes Will Now Be On Velospace!

This week I’d like to introduce my followers to Velospace. Velospace is a niche social media site kind of like an Instagram for bikes. But it’s narrowed down to just bikes. MK Leadout Cycles would like you to become a member. The idea is to post a picture of your bike and state the components that make it special. For instants what kind of frame it has or the type of rimes. People can comment and let you know what they think about your bike. It’s totally free and it’s also very fun! MK Leadout Cycles will be posting a picture of every bike we have to offer. So if you’d like to know anything about our bikes but don’t have time to come down to the shop check it out on Velospace.

Here we have a little tutorial on how to use Velospace!
(I can't upload my video to my blog. We talked about and I'll just show it to you sometime)

MK leading the charge of Crowns

Every year we team up with Virginia Crowns to do an annual bike ride around Eau Claire. The players from the Virginia Crowns come up here to bike around Eau Claire to start off their off season training. We rent out bikes to them and we will also bike with them to show them around our beautiful city. It will begin next Saturday on the 28th at 2:00pm at the MK Leadout shop there will be a dinner to fallow to help refuel after a long day of ridding. It brings in a lot of new costumers for our business its feels good to help out the team during the off season. The Virginia crowns will also be giving out free VIP ticks to a home game. To sign up for a chance to win you'll have to come down to the shop. MK Leadout's will also be giving out half off your next purchase before the event so hurry in before its too late. Were more than happy to help lead the Virginia Crowns to their next victory.

The man who has cycled the globe

Thomas Andersen is living the dream he has been traveling the world on his bike across Europe.
He left Copenhagen in October 2010 by bicycle. The first part of the trip he went through Eastern Europe towards Turkey and the Middle East. He was lucky to make it through Syria, Jordan and Egypt just before the Arab spring in 2011. He then flew to India and cycled across this fascinating sub-continent. In South East Asia he made it across Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia before catching a short flight to Darwin in Australia. He cycled across the vast Outback towards Melbourne and Sydney. He is now in South America, cycling from Ushuaia in Argentina to Newfoundland in Canada. Right now he's probably in northern Ecuador. looking at some amazing sites. Thomas Andersen is doing what most of us can only dream of. Wouldn't it be nice to take a few years of your life to travel the world on a bike.

check out some of the places he's been: http://www.cyclingtheglobe.com/
