The man who has cycled the globe

Thomas Andersen is living the dream he has been traveling the world on his bike across Europe.
He left Copenhagen in October 2010 by bicycle. The first part of the trip he went through Eastern Europe towards Turkey and the Middle East. He was lucky to make it through Syria, Jordan and Egypt just before the Arab spring in 2011. He then flew to India and cycled across this fascinating sub-continent. In South East Asia he made it across Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia before catching a short flight to Darwin in Australia. He cycled across the vast Outback towards Melbourne and Sydney. He is now in South America, cycling from Ushuaia in Argentina to Newfoundland in Canada. Right now he's probably in northern Ecuador. looking at some amazing sites. Thomas Andersen is doing what most of us can only dream of. Wouldn't it be nice to take a few years of your life to travel the world on a bike.
